Ok, so I can tell that a portion of you use one of two themes so I would like to get your opinion on something.
Here's the thing:
The hover slide bar while the default theme, I have noticed has a mild bug to it. If I delete what the plugin thinks is an unneeded closing div, it sort of screws with the Proboards ToS in that it moves the Ads (I know most if not all of you probably use Ad Blockers anyways) to the sidebar and thus is against the rules. Now, with said div in place, the ads return to where they are, but you all (the ones that may or may not play multiple accounts on here) lose your account bar in the lower right hand corner of the screen. (How many of you just looked to see? ) Again while not a BIG thing, it hinders one of what I think is the best new feature of the new Proboards V5 setup that allows for ease of switching, not just between accounts on this forum (The little blue people) or any Proboard forum you happen to have an account on (The little screens in the middle). That's the bad, the good part is that it hides all of the things that people may not want to see (IE the Seasons/Moon/Weather) on the entire forum, it also means that the forum is a little smaller for those of you who may be using a smaller screen or a slightly slower computer/connection.
Now for the Static, it's pretty clear cut. With it static it's always there, and while I can have it only show up on the main page, the forum would still be the same size (I think the static is set to about 1000 pixels give or take) so it would make the posts you make appear smaller than they already are. Not a big thing to some of you, I know, still, does tend to dishearten someone to see they post this big paragraph, they post it and it's reduced to two or three lines of text.
So the Question I pose is this:
Keep the static side table?
Keep the Hover Slide Table?
Keep them both for those who want to chose between the two?
Or do away with them both? <--this one might make me cry a little.
I leave the decision up to you. Pick one and the poll will be locked at midnight a week from today.
